About us
Our story starts in the summer of 2008. Karel Dubois, the founder and owner of WaveSurfer, has a factory in West Flanders, Belgium, where stainless steel products are manufactured. Karel is fascinated by extreme water sports and achieved using this passion in his business.
The rest is history: a state of the art factory with more than 5.000 m² of production surface is built. A team of in house specialists work on the Research & Development. After a few months, the prototype of the first WaveSurfer was produced. Soon the first requests came in and the same year the WaveSurfer mobile on trailer was used to promote surfing to youth in collaboration with the Belgian specialised tour operator "Outside."
Karel's mission is to make surfing available for everybody and not only the happy few. Thanks to the original and innovative surf simulator, we present a unique water attraction to the people!

This is where the WaveSurfer is produced, from start to finish.
We start by showing you a 3D-model on screen. Then, the production in our workshop follows.
Each piece is produced and finished to the highest standard thanks to our laser. The last step is the assembly of the WaveSurfer at your site.
Did you know that we only use green energy? That is our way of helping the environment!
- Safety first
Because your safety is of the utmost importance, we test our final products extensively. We only rely on organizations that are recognized by the government (such as TÜV and AIB Vincotte) to perform the technical tests.
On top of this, we also check on the durability of the product. In 2009, we performed a freeze test. The temperature dropped to -17°C, and still our WaveSurfer worked perfectly! Besides freezing temperatures, the WaveSurfer can also stand hours of sunshine: all its parts are UV-resistant.
In short, there are no limits to our possibilities!
