Marketing & growth specialist
with a commercial mindset
As part of our international expansion, we are looking for a marketing & growth specialist
who combines creativity with commercial insight. Someone who enjoys increasing visibility
for innovative concepts and who is not afraid to actively approach potential partners and
customers. In your work you make active use of modern digital tools, including AI tools,
to support marketing activities, research, lead generation and content creation.
Location: Houthulst
Your role
In this role you combine marketing, lead generation and commercial outreach. You help
strengthen the international visibility of Wavesurfer and support the commercial side by
generating new opportunities and building relationships with potential partners worldwide.
Your responsibilities
Marketing & visibility
- Manage and develop our social media channels and website, with attention to
SEO and online visibility. - Create presentations and marketing materials that clearly communicate our
surf concepts. - Support and represent Wavesurfer at international trade fairs and industry
events.
Lead generation & outreach
- Identify potential partners and customers in international markets.
- Generate and qualify leads through LinkedIn and other digital tools.
- Actively approach prospects and introduce our surf concepts.
Commercial support
- Contribute to quotations, commercial proposals and follow-up with prospects.
- Identify commercial opportunities and contribute ideas for growth.
- Support the preparation of business cases and project proposals.
Partnership development
- Help build and maintain relationships with international partners.
- Support the development of both sales and rental partnerships.
Who we are looking for
You are a marketeer with a commercial mindset who enjoys combining creativity with real
business impact.
You bring:
- Experience in marketing, growth marketing or commercial marketing.
- A proactive attitude and willingness to approach new contacts.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- A structured and results-oriented way of working.
- Affinity with technology, engineering or innovative products is a plus.
- Interest in working with digital tools and AI tools.
- Good knowledge of English and French (additional languages are a plus).
